Insurance Coverage:

Grants Pass Healing Arts as of October 15th, 2023 will be accepting Health Insurance for Therapeutic Massage and Motor Vehicle Accidents (click here for MVA)

This is an exciting venture for us and we hope to reach more people with the healing benefits of massage.

To bill your insurance first we will need to verify your coverage, if you are unsure if your insurance covers your massage we can help.

In some cases, we may require a referral from your doctor. This is a process, but we want to get your massage covered as much as you do.

Please read through (FAQs) before filling out the form.

Once the form is filled out, please note it may take up to 4 business days to verify coverage.

Once we have verified your coverage, we can schedule your massage. Please note that any massage services received that are not covered by your insurance will need to be paid in full.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) About Health Insurance Coverage and Massage:

Q: What do you need to see if I have insurance benefits?

A: We just need your name, a photo of your insurance card (front and back), and your birth date. Call or text us at (541) 660-5531 or fill out the form here.

Q: Do I need a referral from my doctor?

A: Not always, but we recommend getting one to help the billing process go more smoothly.

Q: I know I have massage coverage. Why do you have to verify it?

A: While you likely have massage benefits, there are a lot of factors involved to make sure your massage is covered through us. For example, some insurance plans require you to meet a deductible first, some require a copay or will only pay for a percentage of the visit, some will only pay for a massage if it’s at a chiropractic office, etc. We are only able to proceed with billing your insurance once we have verified benefits and, in some cases, we have to wait and see what your insurance is willing to cover once we have billed for your first appointment.

Q: If my insurance does not pay for my massage, will I be charged?

A: Yes, at time of scheduling we may ask for your credit card to hold the appointment. It will not be charged unless your insurance does not pay. If we have not received verification from your insurance company that you are covered, you would be charged at time of service.

Q: My friend has the same Insurance as I do and is able to receive a massage with a co--pay, would that be the same for me?

A: If you have the exact same plan and there is no deductible, then that is possible, but we can’t guarantee coverage until we verify your benefits. Companies usually offer different tiers of coverage, so you don’t necessarily have the same plan. In many cases, it varies because if there is a deductible that has to be met, your friend may have met theirs where you may not have.

Q: Do you accept Medicare/Medicaid/OHP/Disability?

A: Unfortunately, at this time, we do not.  We do offer a 10% discount to students, seniors, and military. And have a package price that is more affordable as well.
