How Grants Pass Healing Arts Came to be!

"Joy is not in things; it is in us."
Richard Wagner

Sarah opened Grants Pass healing Arts in 2022. After working in the industry for over two decades and moving through the changes the world presented in 2020/2021 Sarah saw a need for human connection, care, and healthy touch. Sarah wanted to create a space that supports growth inside and out a place where we can step into our "heart-center".

Grants Pass Healing Arts strives to provide a non-judgmental environment, holding space for your wellness needs. We believe in the power of touch; we believe everyone should receive massage. Sarah has developed a team of wonderful L.M.T.'s offering a variety of modalities to support your self-care path. Currently GPHA is accepting some insurance and has massage times available 7 days a wk. to help make massage more accessible for everyone.

About Sarah-

Sarah grew up in southern Humboldt county, CA living off the land as a youngster then moving to Oregon in 1985. Studying ballet and modern dance from a young age, Sarah developed a strong passion for expression through movement which has played into her career as a mind-body practitioner.  Sarah’s passion for form in fitness and looking at the body as a whole was heavily influenced by her extensive dance background and went hand in hand with her mind body approach to fitness. Studying yoga, Pilates, fitness, massage and dance for over two decades provides many tools for a collective approach to each client’s needs. Sarah believes in integrating movement for building physical strength, balancing body for longevity, developing deeper self-acceptance, and teaching daily habits that can help in reducing pain both physically and mentally.  Sarah believes whole-heartedly in the benefits of massage as a regular part of a balanced self-care regimen. Sarah is passionate about bringing the benefits of massage to as many people as possible and enjoys educating and training upcoming therapists. Sarah is currently teaching at RCC in the massage therapy program and does monthly trainings with LMT's at GPHA.

When not working Sarah likes to take long walks with her dogs, writing, and recharging at her mountain home.
